Further than planned
Mette and Søren had one rule for the week: no fixed plans after ten in the morning.
The rule was Søren's. Mornings were for coffee on the aft deck and deciding nothing. After ten, the boat decided.
On the third day the boat decided on the white cliffs to the south. The hardtop kept the sun off; the wind came up in the afternoon and they barely noticed. Mette walked forward along the side deck with two glasses of water and did not spill either.
They found a village with one restaurant and one table left. They found a cove where the water was so clear the anchor looked close enough to touch. They found that a week is longer than you think when nobody is checking the time.
